So I just went and picked up my 3" TBE that I got shipped from Lismore and it's not pretty... It's obviously been on a SUPER low rexie and the guy has run over a block of concrete or something. The bottom of the dump is dented, and the bottom of the Flexi is shredded. Mid pipe isn't too bad but still has a few dents. Diff back to the muffler is pretty much half the pipe it's meant to be its that dented in. Can it be repaired? No idea what to do :/e85bd280235dc100402f79edc447046d.jpg819338f5f2e449c1c6759b982f697fb6.jpge15f2aca81c4fa5dd8942f8cd8223e33.jpgceb75ad55d669a67492880b8bad6a022.jpg

Had pictures but I guess he just showed the top side of all of it.

It was cheap but by the time it was shipped to Sydney from Lismore was about $500. The guy's not answering my calls. It's a shame because there's the basis of a great exhaust there - Mille Miglia branded Hi-tech gear - the split dump pipe etc.

Really feeling like driving up to Lismore and clubbing the bloke with his shitty muffler.

If it was on OzFoz, well, you only have to see the Craig Rogers sticky in their for sale thread to see how they deal with this sort of shit.

Nah PayPal, I'll hopefully be able to get the money back for the exhaust but it won't pay for the courier which was $150. Going to see an exhaust shop tomorrow to see if anything can be done. I think the mid pipe will be fine and ideally I'd love to salvage the dump pipe because it's a hi-tech split one. Diff back is probably a write off though.

You can definitely get your money back through PayPal's buyer insurance thing. I've done it before and they're quite efficient with the whole process. Losing the courier money adds salt to the wound though but at least you'll be able to get some back.

Yeah I've heard from a few people that it's a pretty reliable thing. I'm in the "resolution" stage before you actually make a claim but before I make a claim I'm going to see an exhaust shop to see what can be done. If it can be repaired then I'd prefer to do that and not lose the money. If it can be repaired then it's still a killer exhaust for the money but if not then I'll just bite the bullet, get my little bit of money back and keep looking for something else.
