Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. I am so bored, I literally just read a paper on how exo-planets are formed using gravitational orbits and varying degrees of escape velocities of the particles that help form planets.

I couldn't even read this entire sentence

@Shaz

This is what I found after a quick look regarding the 'clay bar cloth'.

https://www.carcarep...mint/clay_cloth

Basically it's a micro fiber towel with a tacky rubber coating on one side. Once the car has been washed and is still wet, you wipe the rubber surface over the paint (I kept the hose on to flood it) to remove the contaminants.

Initially you can feel the cloth 'grinding' over the rough surface but after only a few passes the surface loses the 'sand paper' feel and becomes totally smooth. The cloth does knock the top off the orange-peel so if the surface is a bit down, it will have a dull appearance once it's dry. From there it's just a light hand polish to get the paint back to normal.

One thing I did notice that before I used it, water beaded really well due to the products I use on the paint but afterwards the water just ran off in sheets as you find with an un-polished car. I guess from that it shows that the cloth pretty much gets all the crap off prior to a polish.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?
