Aderm, basically you go into a shithole in the middle of the city that was hit by the virus the worst and its all barricaded off, enemies are way stronger, and other players can now kill you, whereas in the rest of NYC, they can't. But, you get the best loot from the Dark Zone (DZ), and alot more coin, exp, etc.
