I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Zac's B4 sold quicker than I thought. I will miss mine when I move it on.

Weighing up my options at the moment. B4 (fix valve cover seals and keep driving it, paint aids can wait), Gen4 GT (meh, not much of an upgrade, cousin has a H6, other than turbo models its become a P plater sled), Prado, 2014 WRX (near new km's, similar price to forking Prado's). I have test driven 2 Prado's and had an overwhelming feeling that I shouldn't do it. They're fork off expensive for the age and k's, over 50's chariot and the school bus. It would probably see dirt twice a year. My B4 gets parked for 5 days of the week now in a shit neighbourhood, I really only drive it on the weekends.

Prado's are big. Klugers not so much.

Get a Forester. Enough room for 1 maybe 2 kids down the road. Good security system.

If you need a train station trolley just get little shit box for $500.

Its not so much the size of the Prado. I was actually impressed with how they drive, even with the D4D.

The only reason I would buy an SUV is to take it up the beach and Fraser Island. So if the Forester didn't do that comfortably without scraping its belly and bogging I'd be a bit upset.

I'm considering this current shape WRX as the upgrade to the B4. I don't feel like Gen3 to 4 is enough of a jump in age and k's for the money.

The B4 is also old enough I don't give a fork when I leave it in a carpark.

Current WRX is a good option. Plenty of gadgets. CVT for the missus.

As for Fraser, hiring an SUV would be less in the long term versus buying and maintaining a decent off roader.

I used to work on 4WDs and Fraser Island always seemed to fork them, so many rusted bolts that snap the heads off. Salt and steel should never mix.

Still the Gen IV wagon man. Not looking at getting another car any time soon. I will be in the market for a motorbike later in the year though which is exciting.

How have you been man? It's been a while. Can't see you in the dark.
