Where is the coolant going?

Is it wet inside?

If its loosing coolant there, then it'd be that.

Otherwise, a tk test will rule out any gasketitis.
tk tests if you don't already know, can be done at any good mechanic or radiator shop.

Nope, no leakage into the cabin as far as I could tell.

I don't know where it's leaking to. This kinda worries me as it leads me to believe that it's being burnt off via a leaking gasket. However, the sudden lack of heating leads me to beleive that it must be related to the heater element leaking from somewhere..
Also could be a blockage in the radiator core that's building pressure and pumping the fluid out of the drain pipe and hence not delivering any warms to the heater return...

Could be so many things and I don't have the time or the patience to work on this lump of a thing!

I've checked the oil and there was no milky residue so I don't think the gasket has gone yet.

I've recommended that he take it back to the place that did his water pump and supposedly fixed the initial problem and to aks them to pressure check the cooling system, run an o2 test and investigate the heating issue.

All of that should hopefully varify if there is a bigger problem looming.

so anyways, got my car back today after getting the exhaust done, and WOW!! she sounds fantastic, very happy with the result. the ECU tune wasn't able to be done as the guy who is tuning it has had to take time off for family related reasons, so the car is running fairly rich atm, should hopefully be tuned next week.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

My weekend was pretty blow-arse. Rain. Rain and moar rain. I didn't even get to look at my subaru this weekend either, so I am no closer to finding out if it was my clutch hose or slave cylinder that went. I dream of a garage.

Ohh i had fun last night :D 8pm had a inpromtue meet with a fellow gen2 and checked out a big meet near us, which turned into a cruise east to west of melb at which the "fully sik kents" in their commos decided to pull hectik skids and burnouts at the 2nd meet point, thus having the gathering cornered off by cops and undecovers and the police chopper Then got lost traveling to next meet point and followed cars that also had no idea where they were going other than running from the cops, finally found last meet point at 2am which was a flop as everyone had run along home sooooo. (and this is where the fun begins) left for home and decided it would be fun to find some grass and cut sick... 4am arrived with 2 cars covered in grass and dirt, 1 tyre half peeled off its rim and grass wedged in it, 1 front bumper hanging lower on one side and a mattress wedged under a car (yes a mattress i have no idea how he did it) and what used to be a few vacant grassy blocks now a clearing ready to build on... Subarus make good lawnmowers ;) and 60 liters of fuel gone each. plans for next weekend.. clearing a few more blocks of land... also what should it cost to have a tyre removed and then put back on the rims? and should i get them balanced again? cause from sliding and hitting some tougher grass i got a huge chunk of turf wedged inbetween the lip of my rim and the tyre and it was pushing the edge of the tyre back behind the rim lip (if that makes any sense) i deflated the tyre totally at the servo and managed to dig most of the grass and dirt out but there was heaps of dirt still inside the tyre so i want to get it removed so i can clean it up.

actually went to check out the other libs, and just to clarify. we were not the ones running from the cops, we were actually just parked in the parking lot talking to a RS owner when all hell broke loose and the cops turned up.. but it only takes one idiot to start smoking it up and then the sheep will follow.

anyway the grass cutting was fun, 2 libs powersliding around on the grass made for a good saturday.
