Here's a quick one... My GF's cousin has an EL Fairmont. I'ts losing coolant after a water pump change over. I checked it over for him last night and all seems OK aside from the heater isn't pumping out any hot air. I conlcuded that his heater core/element is stuffed and that's potentially losing coolant.

Sound about right to you guys?

Where is the coolant going?

Is it wet inside?

If its loosing coolant there, then it'd be that.

Otherwise, a tk test will rule out any gasketitis.
tk tests if you don't already know, can be done at any good mechanic or radiator shop.
