what did you do to break it ?

The double sided tape came off in an area so i was removing the drivers side monsoon to redo it and cracked it slightly. Glued it and it was alright but could see the crack so i tinted it with tailight tint and polished it. Came up a treat.

Time to do the passenger side to match I thought. Unfortunately the mixture of alchohol consummed at the time was not a good idea and i f**ked up the spray tinting and everything i did made it worse. Then i got angry and snapped it.

So the cracked one is still ok, but i need a new passenger side, but will get a new set from IM.

Yum that looks the goods Alex. Dunno about $500 for a metal box though...

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Luke, if you've ever seen under the bonnet of a real JDM TT, you'd start to have second thoughts about that $500.....

Yeah but come on Alex, you're paying like $400 extra just for some polished metal. Plus they've gone and attached a garden hose to it!

It's called "Night Shade" I think.

I am truely worried for you and your car. You are now embarking on this 3.0l H6 conversion but my memory of your driving skills are less than positive.
God be with you. :D
As Tony Montana would say:
In this country, you gotta make the money first.
Then when you get the money, you get the power.
Then when you get the power, then you get the women.

BAH... i'd had the car for like... a few weeks when you guys first met me...

i was younger, more stupid.. and more of a showoff...

not saying i'm not those things now, i just know when enough is enough, and i better know the limits of my car... and i rarely test/push them...

there is a time and place for that and it's on a track, and that's where i'll be doing all my hooning...

200kw isn't something that one should just muck around with... it needs more reverance than the piddly 100kw of the 2.2...

Younger....by what.....several months?

You try to speak like you've done this for a while.

Everything you do to this car has been somewhat of a rash nature. Your age and lack of experience with cars is also somewhat concerning.

I bet you $100 you'll "have a go" on your way home... and $200 you'll scare yourself. (hopefully without doing any damage to yourself).

I've seen people do what you're doing now Tristan. With catastrophic results. You're no different. Not one bit.

Tristan mate I've been driving for 5 years now and you saw what happened when Dylan's car behaved in a way I wasn't expecting. A few months extra practice is nothing.
