Nah soop doesnt do it for me - receding hairline ftl.

What price does a cheapish pci sata controller go for these days? min 6 port.

Soop doesn't have a receding hairline.

He's just a bloodnut. Tis all.

doesnt it make it harder to lock because there getting drive, and it has to make the diff slip or somthing like that?

No. That's what diffs are for :D

look, guys... i'm sorry if i've been coming off as a douche or whatever... i don't mean to be... i don't (or at least try not to) make any excuses for my driving, if i've done something stupid i can admit that it's stupid and do my best not to do it again...

and i'm sure i can wait a few months before doing a defensive driving course. it would make for a good day out, that's for sure...

Tristan don't worry about it mate, in time you will understand what we're all bashing on about. When you're young you think you're a great driver, as you get older you realise you were actually a shit driver. There's nothing wrong with that, I think everyone here can admit to the same thing. There's just no replacement for experience.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

maybe the roads round my place are slipperier than yours...??

Sexual Inuendo Tristan? You trying to start some ***** Wars here? haha.

But serious, I thought AWD wouldn't lock up at such a minimalistic speed.

Nick

*shrug* it's done it at least 2 other times... turning round a corner, braking a little late and one of the wheels locks up... and this wasn't done at anything faster than 50kph...

and i figured any sexual inuendo wasn't misplaced in this 'whorum'

:P

Niko - wat? AWD makes 0% difference. The braking force is more than enough to overcome the torque from the engine. Particularly when the traction is severly limited due to the environment. Tristan, treat the vehicle and the environment with caution always, and you'll avoid most trouble. That said, everyone has moments of stupidity. Wether they own up to it is another matter.

after the incident that i had when i first got the car (kurbing it) i've always treated wet roads with respect...

i live with a constant (if only slight) fear of driving in the wet... not having ABS has done that to me...

it's strangely got me excited.

Hahahaha, I got a funny little buzzing sensation right up the back of my scrotum.
Noice.

You're better of learning without ABS. It tends to give people a false sense of security. Commo has it, its way to sensitive for me.

Find yourself a nice empty car park with nothing to run in to and learn to feather the brakes in the wet. ABS is an advantage, but you're better off knowing how to brake without it!

Sorry Tristan, I didn't realise this was going to turn into a Flamage of this magnitude.

Flamage? I wouldn't call it flamage, Frank. I mean, we don't intend any malice or anything unpleasant of Tristan. Its actually quite the opposite. I want all the good things for Tristan. Starting with a life, a pulse, working our way through to full nervous and musco-skeletal function, so that he can enjoy his car (that hasn't been wrapped around a pole) to its full extent. I just want him to survive long enough so that I can chop his car!! HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAA

Pffft. I didn't chop that dog.

It chopped itself. As its rear end was overtaking its own front end, as it was spinning out thinking "ZMONG WTF WAS THAT" when an almighty sonic boom had erupted from under a burgundy bonnet!! :P

Atmo BOV = chop.
