I think 2 posts is sufficient, especially if they can only post an introduction thread. With this "group" you speak of Dylan, can they post anywhere in intro or can you make it so the first thing they have to do is start a new thread in the introductions? Also maybe a small automated private message when they first sign up stating the fact that they have to post an intro thread before they can actively participate in the forum.

The Cheese isn't a bot. Its an Account you can use to hide in. Ozliberties auto-message system uses that account to send messages via the forum.

yeah, if it auto messages ppl then in my eyes its a bot So that means Dylan is a bot??? HAHAHA

LOL! Alright guys I'll take a look. Jeff, I can limit it down to allow them to ONLY post in the introductions forum sure - just not 100% on getting automated messages. I think I may have to amend the user signup email to include information about what to do when they have first signed up (ie. create a g'day thread). Will keep you guys in the know. Dylan

Alright guys I'll take a look. Jeff, I can limit it down to allow them to ONLY post in the introductions forum sure - just not 100% on getting automated messages. I think I may have to amend the user signup email to include information about what to do when they have first signed up (ie. create a g'day thread).
