Yeah, this 86 purchase is a prime example of escalating too quickly.

I walked over the road to Sydney Toyota to look at Corollas so I could have a cheap daily and a sweet Sunday tuner, nek minit wife is sitting in an 86 and I'm calling the fam to swing a discount.

Had I actually been in the market for a 2 door coupe a 240Z would have been my choice, was a sweet example in Glebe that was A1 and only $20k. Next on the list would have been an EG6 V-TEC cos I'm gay and I like Honda hatchbacks.

My Sis sounds like she is taking over a Subaru dealership next year, bought herself a new STi. So 86 might not be a 5yr car after all, might swap in on a Levorg in a couple of years.

Fark I'd take a Z over an 86 ANY day of the week.

Whats wrong with you cubt

He is just incredibly sexy

It's a blessing and a curse. But thanks Morgs ;D

Levorg is rubbish.

Not a fan.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Yeah but compared to Foz XT it's smaller and ergo more wife friendly. To me the Levorg is nothing more than a Boxer powered Corolla, which is fine with me. Any kid who thinks it will be a balls to the wall out of the box racecar is forking out of touch with the market Subaru is aiming for.

And Mum's beat-up-Gen 3-RX driving P-platers with their no manual = no care, I only have $15 in my account dickheads need to realise Subaru don't cater to them.

fork I sound like Alex.

I don't think the Levorg is rubbish. It's just for a certain market, as Nick said. If you go in wanting one thing and the Levorg caters for something else, you're not going to be happy
I've watched a few reviews on the Levorg recently and they appear to be a well kitted out car.

I had a steer of one. Overall they aren't too bad, but I should clarify that my "its rubbish" comment was more on the price. Holy shitballs they're expensive for what you get.

Also ride quality isn't that great I found. CVT actually feels pretty alright I thought (Not very responsive though)

I think would be a second hander purchase type thing.

+41.

Same thing with 86, so many peeps thought it'd be a 2door WRX. They brought out an insanely well balanced car that anyone can take to the track on day of purchase, but internet kids who drive Camry's piss on it cos it doesn't have massive power. Even though Clarkson and Chris Harris both say it's an amazing car......for the price.

Definitely a secondhand purchase car. They all are! Every single car. Let someone else take the initial depreciation hit and then you're good to go!

Yeah, but look at the purchase price for any car, new XTs are overpriced IMO. I think the interior quality of cars has decreased massively. Gen 2 liberty felt nice inside, the dash had that soft feel. New Subarus feel like a Hyundai inside.

Fun fact. Although I'm sure you're all aware already. The new Gen 6 Liberty 3.6R RRP is $14k cheaper than the Gen 5 3.6R.

$14k!!!!!

Can get one for $45k. I reckon that's a fantastic deal.

Careful what you say about Hyundai's... Shaz is here ;)

That Outback is well priced. I think Subaru will clean up with that car, will blow a hole in the Euro SUV market.

Remember that time we drove about 3000 kms to get milk from a farm in Tasmania but the prick never came through with the goods and I had to have black tea....
