I would only bother upgrading the front brakes m8, front only 4 pots are cheap as now, or maybe gen4 GT/H6 front brakes also.
This car really suits your wife now, looks great.

Yeah, 4pots might be a goer, some say it is no upgrade, but after talking to some track guys apparently there is better pedal feel. 4 pots give a bigger range of pads aswell.

GT-B/RB brakes in my mind would be the choice because bigger.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

What year are they?

Yeah, but until it gets FI this platform doesn't need that larger stopping power.

Umm GC8 era. Only difference between the early and late is the raised subaru logo that Mark milled off when he painted them years ago. NFI when ill could afford brembos so dont hold your breath lol

I was toying with getting a Toybaru stencil made up.

On that note, we need to organise Alpine Dock stickerz and merch.

True, but I have never heard of anyone complaining their brakes are too good.
Future proofing perhaps?

One of my blokes left a centre cap in the workshop when he had the wheels off his 86 the other day.

Toyota on the front, Subaru on the back.....

So... Impulse bought some RAYS lugnuts, the dura type. Light as fork, can't believe the difference, and very well put together.

Some before and afters below.

Also a pic of the Eibachs, with the Kartboy endlinks and Whiteline sway. Cuurently set on soft until I can get it properly sorted. Notice the copious amount of lithium grease on the bushing to stop the rear sounding like a haunted house. Might need to replace bushing soon.

Ordered a Fumoto valve, will go in asap as I want to change oil soon.

Next on the list is some adjustable lower control arms for the rear so I can play with the setup a bit more. I changed rear spacer from 35mm to 25mm, tossing up whether to go for some 17x8/9s soon or just throw some sticky 225s on the stock wheels for tracking. Also need to order some performance pads for the front due to an upcoming driving holiday. b59421fb0d9b9e92c526e50496280691.jpg44547f1fa84ba2122d73a08c51a6571c.jpg0f54c0a0f34922c7f5752aa3b8972f7a.jpga2fa2b6a1f1a4253ce54583668f52985.jpg

Looks good Niko.

Should be a real fun machine once the suspension tune is sorted.

Cheers guys.

And yeah Jase hoping to really make it something good. Oddly enough I had a bit of weight in the boot the other night, and I felt the car behaved a lot better. Might need to hurry up and get spare tyre sorted as I think balancing the car out may improve performance a tad.

You might need to get the corner weights looked at.
