That pic = INTERNETS WIN. Man, not only do the V8's not meet the WRC specs, if you tried to enter the AUDM WRX's in you'd be told to bugger off - it's 2L 4 cyl or less to enter, ain't it?

dylan subaru used to sell the rally prepped STI's a few years back, I'd say they had the 2.0L engines in em. Priced upwards of around 80k for something basic all the way up to Group N spec ~$160k ready to go. They were the S204's.

Interesting. They most likely stopped when our WRX and STi's went to 2.5L which was a few years back?

Alex, you bloody kill me, I been LOL'ing on all your posts. Buzzda.. you LOSE.. and I mean Epicly LOSE. The fact that your getting caned on a Subaru forum, and your sticking up for Subaru's, show's that your post / thread has failed miserably. LOL

I thought he did a fantastic job of confirming his position within the ranks of subyclub. Tristan now has stepped up a rank as there is now someone that provides even more inaccurate or misguided information! Congrats Buzzduh.

Congrats Buzzduh.

No he hasn't. There's plenty of room "down there".

He's just acquired a new friend with similar characteristics.
Maybe they can even hold hands.

Someone make a ranking "leader board"... or does it go by the number of "thanks" you have, therefore "ams" is the winner

Thanks guys, but your forgetting one thing I only did this for fun to entertain myself. The fact that so many of you got your scrotum twisted over it means I won!- I really don't give 2 s#@ts anyway. But one question keeps coming back- why are you driving a subaru/ looking at a subaru forum if the commo's are so good??

Buzzda - you've got to learn somehow, that's why we're all here! Haha. I for one prefer my suby over any commo, that's personal preference - that's why I own one. I am guessing it's a lot like that for others here as well. Perhaps peoples tastes have changed since they bought the subaru, or maybe the grass is just greener over the other side ! Good discussion anyway, I think peoples scrots got twisted over flawed points :P
