It's slow as hell on the Facebook group as well. That busy time of year I guess.

What one are you using Haz ??

How is it working out 4 you ??

I'm on Private Internet Access. Service is good and speed is decent enough. Did take about a 10-20% hit though.

I did have an issue with access to the net even when it was connected. I emailed support and had it resolved in under 30 mins so thats a huge plus.

Had some rain here, to the point where one road was so flooded I decided to turn around.
I don't ever remember rain like this.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Had a great day, everything was rosey until my computer fell onto my subwoofer, blinds and leg. I was putting it back into its spot after making some hardware changes. Placed it on the edge of my bed for a second and turned around to move a cable. Forking bang. Shit was forked.

Luckily everything still works. PC has a dent. Subwoofer has a dent and a bent input. Blinds are all scratched.

Having a bad run at the moment.

Need to stop drinking before working on the PC.

It was a good hit. I mean it all still works, if the sub plays up I can use the right channel instead of the left and a new cable.

Not too worried about the PC, it's my old file server. I was giving it an SSD because the 9 year old main drive was failing.

Bugger.

Still, could have been worse. Computer could have destroyed the sub then burst into flames, torching both the bed and the blind.

:)

And its raining again.

I couldn't get down Rooks Rd.

Deep puddle across the road near the big panel shop which wasn't too bad but when I hit the one coming up to the shops I went fork that. A Territory got through but it killed a new 4 series BMW.

Reckon this can be repaired? Gotta live with it otherwise. The chips are very shallow.

EDIT: Had O'Brien look at it this afternoon, they can't do it because the tool is too big for two chips close together. He 'knew people that could' but couldn't tell me who.

I have free windscreen replacement, but I don't want to risk damage to the sensors etc over a small chip on the passenger side. Not until it cracks anyway.

Does your car insurance policy for windscreen replacement? Some allow one per year.

I believe a windscreen cant really last more than 5 years or so, my current one is about 3 years old and is quite sandblasted.

Yeah my insurance covers it with a free replacement. I was just hoping for a patch up.

I actually think the aftermarket windscreen on the B4 chipped less easy, was looking today and it's quite peppered. Though I did cop one on the B4 the day I picked it up.
