Benny, you'll need some tools. The rest is easy.


Once you’re here we might need another then we should have all the tools we need ;) ;) ;)

The gearbox is a shit design. I think I need to remove the drive gear for the 4wd extension on the pinion shaft. Then I can get at the four bolts that are internally holding the front cases together... that’s whats holding me back. It’s not a 32 or 36mm nut, must be a 34mm, but I’m not willing to buy one to find it doesn’t fit through the offset access hole. I’m not there yet, but the angle grinder is increasingly looking good...

This tool suggests the angle grinder. Its the only way to guarantee a successful refurb on the gearbox.
