Kind of takes the wind out of the HSV name plate too.
So much ripple effect to this one decision that was well outside the Australian Holden corporate devision.
This mode of decision making off shore that effects so many employees (not that many for a large company but it still counts!) should make the government stand up and take stock of where else this could occur in terms of the security of our country.
That’s just my wondering mind...

Bathurst was much better with minis racing big Ford barges, through to group A.
Remember the turbo Volvo wagon? Awesome stuff

Or take one off the dealership floor, gutnthe flammable interior out, fit a roll cage and go at it on the track. I reckon many euro cars will do well in this sort of racing. Bathurst might test them out though.
Put it back on the car companies to make their vehicles race competitive, even if t is a slower race compared to the touring cars.

As a camp organise as one of my hats, I’d be spewing so bad if that happened to our “little” camp to the coast next week. But a camp like this would be child’s play in comparison to an OS school camp/trip!
Will they look at postponing it or is it dead in the water?

The toilet paper thing is a bit weird. I can understand grabbing some for a potential quarantine if you are running low, but the seedy forkers buying big to put it up for sale at a premium are the worst.
We needed supplies for the business. But toilet paper for home. Costco was sold out of toilet paper on Monday. I managed to get some from the Woolies near my train station after work on Tuesday. But then it got worse the following day according to the reports. The pasta and long life milk isles were bare but not empty. However the more populated areas were cleaned out from what I've seen. The 'good' rice in the local Asian community is sold out too. A friend of ours has a supermarket and she reckons they sold over 200 50kg bags in a day.
It took until yesterday to get some Hand Sanitiser which has been hard to get since early Feb. The chemist in the city is trying to stay stocked and they are limiting it to 3 per customer. We always have a pump pack on the counter at her business, even on a regular day. But she was down to the last bottle - and of course customers are using it more now too.
Work has already given permission to work from home if a case occurs within the building, or it becomes too much of a risk to commute (train etc.).

I'm actually in need of toilet paper and there was none at two of my local Coles. It's ridiculous but funny at the same time.
People just go stupid.
There has been a government announcement surrounding staying home or something from work, hasn't there?
The latest report of the virus has come from a school in Epping, and the kid that was found to get it got it from another student... Shit's getting real.

Government sent out a memo last night saying schools are to suspend overseas trips until further notice unless to NZ or Canada. Will they look at postponing it or is it dead in the water?
People who doomsday prep annoy me, just I'll informed people make knee jerk decisions.

And if Corona virus is apparently such a killer, why aren’t we doing more about mosquitoes and humans that continue to be the worlds no1 and no2 killer of people.
The biggest issue for corona virus and people is those over 70 and those with underlying or current medical issues apparently.
If everyone sensibly added an extra week or two worth of food etc in their regular shopping, there wouldn’t be so much of an issue in supply of products like toilet paper.
We’re doing alright, got eight rolls left from a pack we got two weeks ago... I’ll be waiting for the toilet paper to go on sale because no one is buying then I’ll “go full hoard”

For now, I’m going to strip out a S2 GT foz, interior is out, now for the wiring and mechanicals - much better than getting all uptight about dunny rolls!

Amen to that!
Last time I saw supermarket shelves like this was in Port Morsby before we did the Kokoda track. But that was normal for their shops.
We can’t even do our regular shop for our family! Anyway, we’ll be right.

We have a staff member who lives in a country town. She was saying a community group in one of the Melbourne suburbs hired a bus and cleared out every supermarket in the entire area. The same happened to one of her friends, in a town 4hrs from Melbourne. Now the mothers group in those areas cant get nappies and formula.
I hope they get what's coming to them....

Yeah it’s bullshit. Same thing in the Macedon Ranges. Seems some mob are making a mint out of these trips with their bus operations too - a pop up business as such. Probably not legit or paying any taxes.
It’s frustrating that we can’t do our usual fortnight shop, and when we can get items like we usually do, the judgements come in thick and fast!
I hope their credit card issuer charges interest like a raging bull!
