Thanks a lot Jase! Haha, there'll be other things I want to do before getting a 7-seater that's for sure.

Thanks El_Freddo. Much appreciated mate. Most definitely new chapters coming.

Yeah, like a seven seater!

Hot tip well before the need for a seven seater, do all the things you want to get done, don’t do the “I’m tired” thing when you’re not really up for it and enjoy the silence!

Definitely have a plan in place for the next 1-2 years. :) No need for a 7-seater for a while.

lol, not engaged, but already have a 7 seater for business reasons. It's "her" car. We actually use it more. Bigger cargo capacity and smoother ride on the shithouse roads around here. Turns out she loves big SUV's and wants a Merc GLS next.

I'm holding onto the Suby for as long as is practical. She complains about its rough ride these days. To be honest, with the current climate and car market I don't even know what else I'd want to get.

There's a new Kia Sorento coming out. Doesn't look bad to be honest, unsure on pricing though.

Missus just replaced her company hack.

Current 'ride' (I prefer 'appliance') is a MY20 SantaFe Highlander diesel.

Totally insulating but easy to drive. Not all that bad, drives better than Mums Peugeot 3008.

They sure have Gaz.
I remember working on the early ones, such buckets of sh1t.

Much like the early Japanese 'Jap Crap' cars. Now look at the Japanese auto industry......

Well, Victoria should be put back into full lock down.

Dickheads are ruining it for all of us down here. The start of that was ppl NOT following our restrictions over the Mother’s Day weekend as other states reduced restrictions at the same time. I believe our restrictions were lifted prematurely through public pressure and federal pressure.

Worst bit is, many Vics are doing the right thing, especially the regional areas, yet here we are copping national flak due to our Melbournian counterparts that have done the wrong thing.

End rant.

Looks like another lockdown is on the cards Bennie.

It's a shame that people were not properly trained when working in high risk environments and then passed it on to their extended families.

The current case numbers clearly shows how easily the situation can get out of control. If the other states can keep a lid on it, they should be congratulated on their efforts.

Crossing the border back to Vic on Thursday. Fortunately I'm not planning another NSW trip for 3 months so I hope the restrictions are lifted by then, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are not.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

I wouldn’t be surprised if the virus is already festering in other states. Mind you, other cities probably aren’t as arrogant as many in Melbourne are, but really I have no idea how true that is.

Now the question is how long until the lock down is extended across most if not all of Victoria with many ppl from Melbourne having time out in regional areas, not to mention the Melbourians raiding our supermarkets for supplies. It’s a joke and will only lead to further spreading of this bloody thing.

It won’t be going away any time soon and we’ll just have to adjust for it.

For now, the takeaway pub meal is rocking it for us - just need to find the pub with the best takeaway grub - it’s not always as it was when eating in!

Cheers

Sucks to be a Mexican at the moment... Hopefully it all gets taken care of in the shortest amount of time. We were doing so well at one point.

Depends on which side of the “hard border” you’re talking about!

I just drove from north of Albury to Melb and didn't see any police, other than Nth bound at Albury.

I was expecting to see a road block at the outskirts of Melb?

Weird..

From the way they're describing it on TV, I'm expecting a roadblock of soldiers along the whole border...

Northbound Albury was full on, police, army, news crews etc. Traffic was banked back to over the river.
There was a small roadblock near the Hume weir but that's all I saw.
