Its slowly sucking all the money out of me, i should cover it will silver duct tape no one would even know,

should get some quotes for it soon (it happened sat morn) trying to avoid going to subaru though

i dont think its worth going through insurance, my excess is too high, and this will make my premium higher than it already is!

Put it through insurance. I think its around $4k damage if its fixed right. That silver needs to be blended properly.
Our silver GenIII got a SMALL scrape (small dent)in the same spot and it was front, rear and side glass out and new clear on both quarters, rear bar and roof.
Sorry to see mate.
Dont do anything silly...........like buy a corolla!

that sucks mate!! buy my gen2 in 10 or so weeks when its up for sale :)

how bad is the panel under the bumper? is it dented in significantly? (in the panel inside the boot where the jack goes is that bent?)
this stuff sucks man, but at one point you need to understand it is a car.. and just that ;) i almost cried when mine was hanging off a cliff lol its life though..

get some quotes but DO NOT advise what your excess is to the panel shops! also shop around ALOT! use the shops against each other and just search the joints in goodle as well.. google has this thing where you can give reviews to business's which is where i read some bad things about my local shops.

It may be quite expensive as Jason has said due to being metalic but dont automatically jump to the insurance boat.. i know my excess was like $2800 or something after all the under 25 crap, and then you can watch your premium go to rating eleventybillion for the next 6 years! and for what.. a few hundred in savings which you will will be paying anyway in increased premiums.

dont be tempted to rush into getting it fixed is the main thing mate!

in the mean time.. celerbrate your mad drifting skills lol...

WooWoooWooo. And still you managed to crash it backwards into a barrier. Perhaps go back to riding a bike? :P Metallic paint will cost exactly f*ck all more. All paint has to be blended out. Metallic just costs a fraction more due to the expensive manufacturing process. (its like 15% more expensive)

ouch! think your **** outta luck here. most panel beaters will want to paint the whole side of the car due to it not matching on one panel... theres at least $1k+ damage there. 110% for defensive driving course MUCH better off that first then suspension as the majority of accidents are due to the driver not the vehicle! either that or slow down! all the best with the repairs mate

Then when you get the power, then you get the women.
