awesome, how much was ya old mans mate gonna charge ya?


Not sure havn't been there yet, but i don't think he would beat it and it was 500 bucks just to paint my old bonnet (he's not a real close mate)

and don't worry Alex it won't be a dodgey job, nothing but the best :)

That sounds reasonable.

Geez Jason, a month to repair?! Must've been a busy period. Mine took 10 days from the time i dropped it off at the assessors office until i got it back. Damage wasnt small - not massive though either.

they are obviously only going to blend in the rear quarter to the rest of the car... don't be upset if there is a slight colour variation between panels

As long as you can't pick it in photos, you guys wont know ;)

I'll make sure its perfectly blended in, if not i will pay more,
also will probably get the bonnet/front bar resprayed after driving to Qld anyway

Yeah, long time but it was front, rear and quarter glass out to blend out the whole back of the car.

As Alex said, you may well get a colour varation. By rights they should be blending the colour into the surrounding panels then re clearing over the repair and finishing at the next panel (edge to edge). With ours the LHR quarter was damaged so both quarters, roof, rear bar, bootlid and LHR door we re cleared. Only shows up under fluro lights as adding clear will darken the colour.
