Set it on fire and claim insurance? Ej22's are hard to find and cost as much as a turbo motor mostly!

One of dads mates from work did a twin turbo conversion to his gen2 gx wagon, he saved the engine gearbox exhuast and lpg set-up doesn't even want a carton for it, but the block of the engine is f**ked and so is the gearbox. So plan is to throw the original engine back in dad said it should be okay it just blows a lil smoke but what's new :P then I'l get these parts of dads mate and use the heads on my block Got a quote on a gasket kit today, seems alright priced I guess, so aslong as there isn't any different between the gen2 heads should be all good. Also should be getting some RS sideskirts this weekend and a RS rear lip As for the RS I don't really want to get a loan on a car. Hopefully when this new engine is build it'l see me out of my Ps :)

Should come up trumps with the RS skirts on and a bit of paint. Grille looks tidy also. Remove those damn led lights in the foggie cutouts asap!

Not diggin' the two-tone  Should look nice once it's all painted up though. Are you planning on a turbo conversion to match all the RS goodies?

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

I'l remove them LED foggies when I find some OEM ones :P Talked to dad and should be starting on paint withing the week or so :D A turbo conversion would be cool. But being on my Ps that's still 2years of before I worry about it More like 3tone with the amount of black appearing in the front bar

Looks good. I reckon loose the STi badge. Doesn't matter how hektic you reckon it is, it'll never be an STi. Also some nicer wheels would go down well if/when you have the cash. Those ones really don't suit IMHO. Early WRX half cut ftw! ;)

Nice bar, car will look tops when you've finished the body and brought it back down to earth.... And did the grill come with the **** badge? Lose it asap. Grill will look better for it. EJ25 conversion? Out of a GEN II/III RX/Heritage, or RS Impreza. Nick

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

STI badge its staying and that's that. I bought it and IMO it gives the grill a less plain and boring look. Got a lot to do before rims soop but I'd like to change them oneday. Nik if I can find an ej25 with a loom and ecu I might do it instead of rebuilding the ej22. If you want a hand with that grill jeff let me know I can hold beers pretty good ;) Thanks for the comments guys :) should have some more RS goodness for the hooters meet :D

Now there's an idea. I might know where to find one if you want to go down that path...

Yeah...I added one to the Impreza and took a photo.....it looks the shiz and makes everyone think it's a STi......oh wait that's cos it is a STi.

I don't agree with the badging, but meh, go for it, you'll probably take it off in a month anyway. Or after everything is painted up, nice bar once again mate.

And I hope you think about the 2.5 idea, it's got a bit more power than the 22 and will be a newer motor, say MY00-03, with some replaced internals you should see some ok power, and less fcuking around then a H6 or T conversion, and completely legal.

pfft.
Why would you. EZ30-r's are teh powahz y0, V-tak 37hp to 89hp in 7000rpm!

Just buy shares in BP and Caltex before you go ahead with an EZ30 conversion.
