You'll find there's little to no difference changing back to airbox.
Don't believe the hype!
Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

dyno's are just a number. take it to the drags and that will tell you how much power you are making!!!
it is so easy to fudge and have inaccurate numbers on a dyno... guy on rexnet had his car tuned by pulse to apparently 230kw atw. he trapped 105mph which equates to less than 200 awkw! ouch!
in saying that i'd be estimating around 160-180 depending on what dyno it is on (hub, DD, mainline etc..)

Stuff goes here

That's all true Alexxxx, but what a dyno will show is the area beneath the curve. Drags will only show the outright power an engine has, but to most people this is irrelevant because most cars are daily drivers and rare draggers.let me find my post again...
if you want to know what true power it is making take it to the strip! dyno is just a number people!!!

That equates to how the car will drive, and where power and torque are delivered.
Alex's(AMS) graph to me looks a bit rough especially at the top where it runs out of puff at around 57-5800.
It seems to hold relatively even boost pressure but there is a restriction up top. That is definitely where you have lost that last bit of power you thought you had.
Still looks to have smoothed the VOD heaps though so you should be happy.

I wasn't really upset, I was a little suprised more than anything that a B4 with less mods (did not have upgraded tmic) managed to make the same number as me on the same dyno with the same tune at the same shop. (i'm talking about Jazzie's car)
I would have thought the TMIC would allow a bit better cooling, therefore being able to comfortably make another 1-2psi than her car.
fatcat - what do you suggest I do to fix top end power?
(dont say single turbo)

tuner could just be playing on the safe side and tuning it to low boost, or if they were encountering problems this could of held them back from getting a reliable/steady boost curve.
