It's how I roll, dawg!Lets just say you have to have a big credit card limit, deep pockets, or no mrs
Keep up the good work Adam. I really need to pull my finger out, and get some work done on the silly car.
Definitely an inspiration for me to get out to it!

I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

This thread is too stagnant.
Needs more;

I'll do it if you do it Adam. 'Cept the Mini is on the burner behind the back burner at the moment, at least until Jeep is done (started).

Thanks for reviving this.
My first two cars were minis.
#1 was a $500 1100 (square-nose, drums all round) which I bought off a friend after it had been stolen, sold, re-stolen and lost in a police impound yard for 4 years.
Changed the fluids, charged the battery and she fired up ready for the pits and rego.
That was a great car. Indestructible.
#2 was a 1275 LS with black vinyl and red velour interior and twin 1 1/4" SU's. Bought it with a couple of rooted wheel bearings. PO had put a custom wood dash in and ridiculous offset wide wheels.
It had heaps of stance on big fat tyres, but scrubbed like a mofo on the guard extensions on bumps.
Much less reliable than the 1100, but heaps of fun. I think I moved house 3 times with that car before doing some front-end damage taking out a dopey moped rider in an intersection (lets just say they're lucky I was in a mini).
I wish I'd kept #2 and done some work to it. It'd be worth a fair bit now.

Actually surprising how cheap you can get one. My dad bought his for $1200 about 10yrs ago. It's a 76 Leyland 1275, runs well. I'm hoping to get up to his a few times during 2015 to restore my Jeep and also look into doing some work on the Mini. Fun little cars.

No conversion plans anymore Nick. I once dreamed of a starlet GO motor in it. But I'll eventually be just be keeping it with the a series I think.
Unfortunately home loan is taking all my funds atm so all fun projects are just in hibernation in the shed
