Hi, A chrome, or even white strip to edge the rim would set it off nicely I reckon. Looks a bit hubcap'esque in all black. Cheers, Nik

Thanks for the info Morgs... I'm not realy interested in buying another rim. I'm going to get the OEM rims repaired and repainted. After that I'm going to take the tyres off the BBS rims, put them on the OEM rims and then think about selling the BBS rims. Like I've said before, I'm not 100% on how the BBS rims look on the Gen4.

Yeh, they do look a little dated on the Gen4 Chris but serve a purpose. Sooooooooooo...... Color change while the rims are with Craig? :D

They do serve a purpose... Not sure about a colour change. I think the silver looks the good with the pearl. Any suggestions?

Craig has an awesome shadow chrome. Was going to get the CS9's on Jenns car done in it. Or i reckon gunmetal would go well.

How dark is the shadow chrome and gun metal? Do you know of any sample pics floating around?

Gunmetal is a darker grey and the shadow chrome is alighter grey with almost mirror finish. hard to explain, you really need to see it. The shadow chrome is one Craig came up with himself as he wasnt happy with the sample and finish of the Dulux one. Awesome color and finish.

I'm a little over the dark alloys, especially after seeing them on the Gen4 now. something lighter would be nice. The shadow chrome sounds interesting. I'll ask him about it. Most likely I'll keep them silver.

Not liking the black Chris. A little less so with the white strip (sorry Nik). Looks a bit too fullyhectik IMO. I'm always a fan of silver. Oh, and sorry to hear about the rims. Sucks, but now you have an excuse for a little mod!

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yeah, I'm with you Jason. Not liking the black rims much either! I'm glad I had them though...
