Tank level didn't appear to make a difference. We ran it out twice full and once 3/4. Same shit.
I'm still not sure it's fuel. If you look at the pictures of the surge pot(a couple pages back) it has the pickup on the right side of the pot.
No matter if it's a right or left hand turn it would display the same symptoms. I'd understand if it only happened on only right hand turns because that would be draining fuel away from the pickup, but it just isn't the case.
I might try a different lift pump(pretty cheap) and see if that does something.
I doubt you are as fat as I am mate. :D

Went out last Sunday for a bit of practice to see if I could sort out a few issues the car is having.
It was an early exit with the turbo oil return hose having a split and leaking oil a bit too close to to the header wrap for my comfort.
There was a fair bit of traffic to get any clean runs in and overtaking on corners is frowned upon so plenty of time was just circulating.

You've changed, man.

It was running ok but every now and again it would miss just when I was exiting a corner and getting stuck into it onto a straight and it would lose a lot of pace.
Its still a blast to drive and the tyres have COMPLETELY transformed the car.
It used to be oversteery and out of control most of the time but now because of the tyres it just does everything so easily.
You should try it.

The blue thing was a VK Commodore(ex-touring car I think)
Meh, I know I've changed. I'm getting weaker as I get older.
Some blokes didn't take much notice of the rules with respect to overtaking on corners. I was just having fun.

So then same issue as before?
Have you changed anything since the last outing?

As above, what tyres?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

RE55s Richo. I can get my hands on a few fo cheap. I bought 9 for $400 with about 50% tread left.

I went out with the intention of crossing one issue off at a time. I'm pretty sure fuel surge is off the table. I was going around a corner watching the AFR's when the engine was breaking down and they were between 12-13, so pretty good. I was hoping the video would be good enough to read the wideband but as it turns out..........not really.
