Your tacho only goes up to 11,000rpm?

WEAK!!!

I was wondering why you've gone all quiet of late.... Either you were working on your car, or Mez has bought you some concrete shoes and sent you out for a swim!

(hai mez!!)

As for the short.... How frustrating! It'll be something retarded yet simple. You watch.

Good to see work progressing, Frank. I guess the lack of on road tuning ability is one drawback of unregistered track cars. We would find a quiet, high speed country road to fettle the tune on my old car - very convenient!

You wear beige tartan shorts?

Car looks professional.
Nice work.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Hai Alex, she does want to kill me after my 2.30am finish on Monday night and all weekend on the car.
As for the short, we'll see.
And regarding the Tacho, see the picture of the Wideband. It called you a Htr. :P

looks good Frank

Thanks Richo. What's new with yours.

Ian, I wish I could get it out to a country road but I live smack dab in the guts of Brisbane CBD almost. Hard to get past the cops all the way out of the metropolis.

Bahahah, beige tartan shorts. It's like all the retired golf cnuts getting around. Now you have a idea of my age. :(

On a side note, Matt Spry from PITS has offered to tune my car on Friday afternoon so that I can get out to Morgan Park for Saturday morning. Last minute again, when will I learn.

I think I have the same (or at least very similar) shorts <internet high 5 here>

As for the car, just running repairs. Clutch is starting to slip (going to the drag strip and getting 10 - 15 runs each time will do that) and catch can keeps dripping oil. Need to find the time to rip it off and see why (its the drain back to the crank case). Also a noise from the rear end has reappeared. Sounds more like the CV than it did before. Last time I had Doug and the lads look at it, as soon as it went up on the hoist, the sound stopped.. 6 months later, its returned. joy.

Hi Mark, no need to worry about the adaptor. I used this.

Its a 50mm cistern adaptor I had in black and it has an flaired tapered end. It fits perfectly and you wouldn't even know it was there.
I just cut the top 25mm of it off.

I think Ian better pass on the handle of Pork Hunt Motorsport to me.
I'm just doing what I can to get this show on the road.
Alex, second hand is OK this time too. :D
The brake lights being on were an issue with the brake switch sticking, so all is well.

Nah, e-boost street settings SP1 and SP2
1 is straight from actuator and 2 is using boost control.

Car was running for a great and then at the end of the day at the track...Blue smoke.

New CHRA on its way.
APS SR50 is equivalent to GT3076 52trim according to the boys at MTQ.

I got sick of getting this repaired, so time for a new core.

Bugger mate, any videos from the track?
I drove past your work today and wondered how your car was going.
