The button may have been for spotties ? I have a bonus button/switch in my gen3 (same spot) and followed the wires to the front of the car. It just supplies 12v, never bothered to attach or remove anything

Found the wires. They do run to the front LHS of the car. There are a few plugs and things that are all connected then they disappear into the guard. I guess ill never know!

I'm hoping you got my message on F book Morgs, Boss sold the last HID kit a month ago :(

But....He said the 4wd club he's with may be doing another group buy soon! So i will let you know how that goes :)

Ah yes, just replied.
Sweet, if he does get some more, im very interested!
Cheers

Congrats on the purchase, I can only imagine how relieved you are to finally have your own car again! What a massive difference the rims make - looks infinately better now :D So do you have some general observations of how a gen3 compares to a gen2? Its the little things that add that up in the end....

Looks tops Morgs....esp with new rims. Need moar lowness and less squished bug.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Biggest difference i think would be the weight difference. I can really feel the extra weight that im pulling along. Apart from that, seats are more comfortable, driving position is better, the quietness and smoothness are so much better. Might have something to do with the exhaust but meh!

Zorst FTW. I think the headers give a little more midrange grunt, as much as a 2.5 n/a has anyway. Heavy, yes. I wouldn't be surprised if the OBK weighs more than my Commondore wagon!

Squished bug half came off on the rest of the trip home when the rains hit. Other half was scraped off first thing when i got home!

Haha no zorst for me this time. The stock headers do some sweet though. I gaz every time i plant it. Such a good sound ... especially after driving Katie's excel for two weeks! Ugh!

Cleaned the girl up a bit today. Being a country car it probably spent most of its life covered in dirt.
Got the old degreaser and a cotton bud out and got to work on my badges.

Heres a before and after:

All that caked on crap was all around the seals as well surrounding the car. I think i got most of it off and shes looking good ;)

I think it was a bit of a surprise to the dealer as well that there was a gooseneck sitting in the spare tyre well (along with a spare tyre!) in the boot. I dont think ill be towing anytime soon but thought id attach it anyway.

Replaced the gap in the wheel well with jumper leads and a trusty tenno - will always come in handy :)

One of my licence plate lights was blown so replaced them with some LEDs.

Seeing as it looks as if the OBK has done alot of mileage on dirt roads, have you had a chance to check all your bushes? The previous owner of my car did alot of driving on dirt roads and most of my bushes were worn out.

Why is it that every time i visit the RTA, something goes wrong/something is forgotten/it takes way longer than it should?

I knock off earlier on Fridays so went to the dreaded RTA with dad (car is in his name) to transfer rego and take my plates out of holding.
Turns out i forgot to bring any sort of paperwork needed to do anything. This is at 4:15pm. RTA closes at 5. Home is 20mins away at this time of day.
Back home i race. Everyone is of course doing 20 under the limit ... or was that me needing to do 20 over?!
Got back to the RTA with 10mins to spare!
Phew!

So here we are ladies.

And something else ive added.
Im not a sticker man.
However, since joining this club, the SC sticker was the furthest i went with it. (After taking off the southern cross sticker) :P
But this came with my cymbals a few months back so thought id put it up for a little while. I think it looks pretty rad.

looking awesome Morgan, just small subtle changes really make the car stand out. :D

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Cheers guys. Im really enjoying adding little bits here and there, doing things myself and learning along the way. Only thing i am concerned about so far is the rolling diameter of the new rims. I seem to be going alot slower than it says i am. Better than being faster i guess but still annoying.
