And spend $30 on a regular set when there are perfectly functional ones already there? Not at this stage...

You don't need number plate covers Morgs. As a matter of fact you will decrease your 1/4 mile time up to 3 seconds by removing them, just in the weight saved.

Well the Outback could shed every bit of weight possible to get that 1/4 mile time down! But i like number plate covers. I do alot of driving (including freeway everyday) so i want to minimise damage to personal plates. Gear knob was functional - you got me there Alexxxxx! But The H pattern was all worn ...plus this one looks nicer :P

Try rubbing where the dealer crap is with wax and grease remover, should be cheap arse paint/crayon and come off with abit of a rub.

LED parkers arrive so i put them in. Simple job i thought?

Posted Image

All went well until i went to check how they looked from the front. One of my headlights has blown!
Posted Image

Good excuse to get HIDs sooner than expected but wasnt wanting to spend the money just yet!
Posted Image

I then thought it would be a good idea to check the other side to see how brittle it was looking. All was fine. Put the air intake back on and over tightened the bolt searing the head off.

HIDs coming soon :)

Look cheap (starting bid I know...). HID's really are an area you are better off spending more $$$ initially to save yourself the trouble and $$$ later on.

I've used the same brand HIDs on my car since '07 and they've never missed a beat - they're from a seller called MarsWareHouse with a 12-month Aussie warranty. Maybe worth a look. If thats too expensive, I can put you in touch with a guy in Sydney who imports rebranded Phillips HID products.

Either way, 6000K should look tops! Just make sure to aim them down :)

Hi, 6000 is too much mate, you won't see squat if it's raining or some fog rocking. I wouldn't go over 4k. Unless it's for **** factor? Cheers, Nik
