to the OP, post up a pic of what is actually touching and where.. this doesn't sound like an issue that should be happening.. I had 235's on the B4 with no issues at all. Wheels spacers should be your absolute LAST option to take.

haha mate i've never actually recommended using them but simply put it out there as an option. I merely made an offer as i do have them for sale. in all my recommendations i've tried to encourage the uses of thinner tyres as i think that's the golden ticket but yeah if your interested $50 for set ;)

Ahhh, man i love those rims! i wanted them so bad! looks good... the photo's dont really show where its rubbing though??? i have seen plenty of gen3's sporting such rims though so should not be an issue... is the camber really really bad maybe? has the car been in an accident ever?

No rubbing now :) It was the 235's giving me the hassle,225's are fine - went to b-stone and they did a top job (even whacked the old 5 spokes on the misses impreza for free) Thanks all for the advice.

They would be (on sealed roads), but if you take into account the amount of grip these things have, even on pissy little 215 tyres, I wouldn't be worried.

Pissy little 215s work just fine for me!

I'm surprised that nobody suggested just buying the K-Sport coil overs (in the sale section) would cure the problem and give a handling advantage and kept the 235's. :diablo:

extra 10mm would make much difference consider the cost of the coilovers

Could spacers be safe (but still illegal) if you got longer stud bolts? Still probably much cheaper than coilovers or new tyres.
