Could spacers be safe (but still illegal) if you got longer stud bolts?

As long as you use business shirts.

so thinking now of welding some gears together, this will improve performance.. wont it?... :dash2: Thanks again for all comments, still looking at every reflection of the wheels in shop windows as i drive past. Out to go clean them is a sec, no rubbing or issues so far 225's are good.

well there is a loss of power through the drive train, you will hear the term "drive train loss" thrown around, my theory is to minimise that loss by getting rid of the drive train........ simple but effective :P

Yes i have also noticed a few B4 owners mentioning the dreaded VOD (valley of death) - the loss of power in between turbo's. I saw a priest who was able to remove the valley of death, and replaced it with the PADDOCK OF NICENESS. It worked a treat! only required some minimal welding, and resulted in a slightly happy feeling every time i press the pedal. :D
