G'Day, Just wondering if anybody has any info on roughly what the top speed, quarter mile time and any other info performance wise of a 3.0L H6 Liberty. Also what one with exhaust mod sounds like and what is the best way to do it. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers, Elando

Hi, What year are you talking? The H6 is a cruising motor really; here is a thread you should check out. http://www.subyclub....rty-h6-exhaust/ Cheers, Nik

If its in a newer Liberty. Probably a mid 14sec pass? (At a guess, based on the weight and power)

Hi, You're looking at over 8 seconds for the 0-100, so they're not exactly about to break your neck. Probably has a fair bit to do with the auto box. Cheers, Nik

XT is an EJ257 with a td04.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.

Thats kind of horrific. Lets get a "big" motor and stuff a potato down its throat.

Hi, Considering a stock XT will go just over a 14, maybe the 0-100 times published aren't quite accurate. I would be interested to see how my car would go with a manual box and a tune. Cheers, Nik

Hi, Probably, a Liberty sedan 3.0RB will devour the 0-100 in easily under 7 seconds though, that's with the 6spd manual. Luckily I couldn't give a flaming galah what my car does over the quarter mile, just how much paddock she can chew. Cheers, Nik

Yeah, depends on its 60ft time and such down the 1/4. 0-100 is kind of an inaccurate way of guestimating. It could start really slow and wind up well. The more i think about it, the more i think im being very kind to it. In terms of 1/4mile times. And yeah you're right, its not a racecar. The OP did ask though. For the record, Top speed would be around 180-200kmh maybe?

Hi, For the record I would have no idea, but I know a bloke who has definitely seen above the double tonne according to his speedo. So yeah, that's another can of worms in itself I suppose WRT speedo readings. I think you would be lucky to get change from 16 seconds down the quarter in a standard H6. Cheers, Nik

My basis is weight + power. 1500kg + 100kw@w?? (Tristans nugget mananged 120kw@w.) If the final drive is 3.9 and 5th gear is 1.1 Similar kind of values to my old 2.2 gx which topped out at 180kmh (it was 1200kg and about 75kw.)

Hi, My basis is just how fast it goes when I drive it. Keeps up with traffic. Cheers, Nik
