Yes, I just stripped the original wire and hardwired it to the dome light. I sent you a PM with the details of the guy I bought the lights off.

Which column/pillar does the wire run down from the dome? i think ill do this to mine, except under the doors. red.
mind sending me the light man details too? :)
cheers

Depends what size the rims are. 19s are the biggest legally we can put on. My stockier had a 65 profile and my tyres on my 18s have a 35 profile. Outback tyres have a larger wall then liberty. What size were the ones you were looking at?

May not have been the right offset or pcd either.

Subaru wheels are fine as they have the same stud pattern. Offset varies a bit. The problem you could encounter is if the wheels don't fit in your wheel arches properly. My Forester tyres are quite chunky and as a result, part of the inner guard had to be shaved to prevent them from scrubbing under load.

Do you know what model they were off?

Well, yeh i got the stock 16 inch 02 OBK rims ones and they practically rot your eyes from looking at them, i like Shivs yours and Morgs reli just something better u know and i figure by getting stock ones of a nice looking model it wouldnt be too $$$ and the tyres should be easy enough to replace.
Thanks

Look for newer model Outback and Forester wheels. There are a few nice ones to choose from. Ensure you get them with tyres because Outback/Forester tyres are super expensive...

Suby rims fit into 2 main categories. STI & Tribeca use 5x114.5 mm PCD, everything else is 5x100mm PCD.

Then within the 5x100 PCD there are 2 offsets I know about, Impreza & Forester are +48mm, Liberty is +55mm.

That means the Lib rims sit closer into the body by 7mm than Foz/WRX rims. I don't know about the Outback, but think it's probably the same as the Lib.
Because stopping never optional.

On full lock, my 17" 09 Liberty GT rims rub on the guard. They are +55 offset.

Thing is, they didn't scrub when I had the old tyres on (215/45/17) but when I got new tyres (215/55/17) they started to scrub. The 55 profile made all the difference but according to Bob Jane's computer, they are exactly tthe right size for the car.

Weird

What is the correct size for the 17s then?
The Gen4s are 215/55/17 so I maybe that's what his poota was talkin' bout?

Old undertray:

New SubaXtreme sump guard:

I got this sump guard because its really good insurance when going off-road. Apart from the obvious protection it provides, it also better insulates the engine bay from water and mud because it provides better wrap-around coverage compared to the stock plastic undertray. Speaking of which - those stock Subaru undertrays are notorious for acting like shovels on the beach. They fill up with sand and tear off...

Mines powder coated black. Normally its bare alloy.

Oh and here's a random picture from last night of my dog:

You can't see it but at the time I took this photo, she's teasing this other dog that's crammed into an Astra. Pretty sure Woof Woof stands for "OUTBACK MOTHERF**KERRRR!!!" :sarcastic:

You could of bought my SubaXtreme bash plate off me - thou it's had a hole cut in it for the oil filter (eff taking that heavy arse thing off just to change the oil), a notch put in for the drain valve (a Fumoto with a nipple (nipple hehe) fits perfect) and has been chopped out to clear U.E.L headers.
Apart from that, it's like new...

Stock, our OBK's had 215/60/16, so to use the 17's and not throw the speedo out (how far out is yours?) you'd go something like 225/50/17 - if you can find them.
