Step 1.
Spray this.
Step 2.
Use this (To try and 'crack' the bolt).
Step 3.
Use this.

Gently rock on it with that, you should have more than enough torque to crack any bolt. The suspension ones are pretty hard to get, so you won't tackle them with anything less than the above, or a rattle gun.
InOx is worth it's weight in gold, mate.
Make sure you get some, spray it on and leave it for a good 10 minutes before setting to it with a hammer and the above tools.

I got a mechanic to hoist it up and crack them this morning and I just finished putting in one of the rear ones. It sits higher than the other side????
About to start the other rear one now..

I was replying to the first post about the third and second gen springs. Not the wrx ones. Didnt even read that post before.
How certain are you that the fronts might fit? And yes, very easily entertained...
Not certain, but might be worth sending RoBBK a pm on ozlib.Ozlib link!!!!

Ok so finally got all corners of the springs in. The backs dropped a bit but the front I think has dropped a little more..
Those springs compressors are annoying pricks too.! And the top of the strut where you have to stick an Allen key inside a spanner/wrench or whatever.... Annoying and difficult!
Anyway I couldn't get the top of the struts tightened all the way on three corners and I don't want to scrub the thread on the top of the strut and don't want to drive it to a mechanic tomorrow, so does anyone know what the easiest tool to tighten the nut back onto the thread would be? (it's the part that bolts onto the thread that you can see when you take the rubber gromit of the top of the strut in the engine bay... If that describes it properly..)
I will get a wheel alignment tomorrow at some stage. And get some pics up also. Next up, borla replica headers off eBay.
Cheers, Sam
