HA I was waiting for someone to say D.

4th if I'm going 100km/h to 60km/h back to 100km/h ie roadworks etc.

3rd usually, cos of hills.

That's in pretty much any car I drive, 'cept the autos. And we all know you have to do 5k rpm in a high school zone, for optimal R3sP3Kt...

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

I usually use 5th, but im gonna try 4th and see how I feel with it.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Actually took notice today, usually 3rd, on long flat stretches 4th and up hills 2nd. But that's in the foz, and being 2lt n/a is guttless as a fillet of fish.

Old thread but watevsssss

Yell out "POWAH" when you hit the button, you'll be surprised how much faster you go.

I lol'd :D

As mine is the mighty 2.5 na, with enough low end torque to drag Tasmania back to the mainland, its 5th for me. Actually, due to the immense torque, I only use 5th and no other gear.
I would have been quite happy if Subaru had just made a one speed gearbox, plus reverse, to save weight thus saving even more fuel.

I just had another thought.
Seeing as manual Subarus are technically one wheel drive (unless fitted with a rear LSD to make them 1.5 wheel drive), they should have fitted only one wheel. Having a one speed, one wheeled Subaru would save heaps of fuel.

lol'd again!

.... I use 5th, same as others have mentioned, ill be in 5th at 50 when not accelerating

then wen some dikhead in a PULSIE comes by i do a MADD rally double shift/clutch into 4th or 3rd/2nd/1st and tear by the kent! bahahhaaa

Fuel ecconomy, whats that?

My old rs turbo box at 60kph in 4th was 2000. (3.545)
My PPGs at 60 was 2200 in 4th (4.44)

My 6 speed is proberly alot higher being a jdm close ratio box. 5th in the 6 speed was like 4th in my 5 speed

I'd usually be in 5th if cruising, and on flat on country roads i would often stay in 6th going through a small town.
