Definitely recommend Hakuba, Japan. Have done 3 seasons there, so much snow. Have done Whistler too, epic resort and best terrain I've skied but nowhere near as much snow as Japan and WAY, WAY busier.
*edit, linked a video I did a few years back when I lived in Hakuba, some questionable editing going on but I don't really know what I'm doing. You get the idea though, snow like that every single day from late December til early Feb and still pretty damn good afterwards:

I've always known Japan to have the best pow pow in the world, not not necessarily the most snow, or just
more than Canada. And less people, that's coooool.
