I'm in picton, you are in Newcastle yeah? Pictures should do it, I want to try keep my factory intake so it's really just a guide as to what bends I need and what orientation to start with ;)

I'll keep the offer in mind though, cheers!

i'll be able to spare the intercooler piping for a week or so, but it wil be made for the twist mount set-up.

Just waiting on a seller to give me details so i can pay for stainless steel EL headers, is that enough of an update?

Couldn't think of a better way to spend a monday afternoon so with the help of Grant we got stuck into this Aid wagon.

As parts starts to come in, its time to get started. So we removed a few things
Posted Image

and then it was almost time for the engine to come out, didnt need to worry about gearbox cross members, dump pipe bolts, it was all a bundle of a fun :dash2:

Posted Image

And i forgot to disconnect the boost gauge, whoops maybe i should install some LEDs so i can see it next time?

Heres an engine on an engine stand

heres the wagon being put to use

heres some outback

For how much the clutch was slipping the clutch plate doesnt look that bad.

Pretty excited to start removing the dash and the loom, not to mention stripping the engine down, then putting it together with the single turbo stuff, good thing i've done it before and know what i'm doing, ahwell it should be lots of fun :nea:

should be fun to drive when it's done but :)

Anywho MASSIVE MASSIVE thanks to Grant (KNG02L), for giving up an afternoon of watching his missus make handbags to help me out :)

Gonna give the engine a good clean in the next few days, so to stop anything going in the heads where the intake manifold sits I just finished making these plates.

Posted Image
Just some metal to the dimensions for 70x210mm with 4 holes drilled in it
Posted Image

Got some rubber gasket material and cut to suit

With some short M8 bolts it should work much better then rags, or tape :)
