Fog lights would be useless with high beams on, on the other hand, spot lights would come on only with high beams, I've driven with only the standard rx and parkers on a couple of times.

GenIII fogs are useless, just like the headlights.

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Yeah ok. The other side is going strong. Maybe I've damaged a relay or something? The LHS fuse keeps blowing...

Haven't checked properly. I'll have to do it tomorrow. Should I just take it all apart and try connecting it all back up again?

When you turn high beams on, wouldn't you want as much light on as possible?

Ah....hmm....not in fog McLovin

By the way yellow/orange is best in fog, like real amber orange. White light like HID will blind you in thick fog.

People get fog and driving lights confused way too much. Two different applications entirely.

If thy tint is dark and thy wheels are black thou car be declared b11tchin'

So you can run it on 6psi with an rx fuel pump? :P

A visual inspection of anything added should point out anything obvious

I'm going to be buying a nudge bar for my car, and mounting some big fsck off spotlights on it.

That's what I did, SubaXtreme bar and a pair of Lightforce 240's - fitted with a HID kit... Was pretty bright.

If your after Pencil Beam lights, always mount them up high.
On a previous car i had them down low under the bumper, lost half
of the light on the road.
I have two small ones on a nudge bar, with 100w globes in each, the Gen4
lights are good, but these just make it easier to see 200m-300m ahead.
Doesn't look the best, but doesn't worry me, just gotta remember when i
park that i have that extra distance infront.
I did think about going for bigger ones, but it just would have looked
stupid on a mainly suburban car.
If it's broke use a cable tie.

Hi,

182. Lights on moving motor vehicles
A person shall not drive a motor vehicle or a combination of a
motor vehicle and trailer, during the hours of darkness or in

vehicle or combination, and the lights are lit.

Points: 3 Modified penalty: 2 PU

183. Using fog lights

(1) The driver of a vehicle fitted with a front or rear fog light shall
not operate the front or the rear fog light unless the driver is
driving in fog or other hazardous weather conditions causing
reduced visibility.

Points: 1 Modified penalty: 2 PU

(2) In fog or mist or in hazardous weather conditions restricting
visibility, the display of light from a front fog light or front fog
lights is sufficient compliance with any obligation to display a
light from a head light or head lights under regulation 182.

(3) A person shall not drive a motor vehicle, other than a motor
cycle, displaying light from a single front fog light, unless 2 lit
lights, complying with the requirements of the Vehicle
Standards, are fitted to the front of the vehicle.

Points: 1 Modified penalty: 2 PU

(4) A person shall not drive a motor vehicle displaying light from a
front fog light or front fog lights, if any other light of a power
exceeding 7 watts and capable of showing a white light to the
front is alight.

Thankyou, and goodnight.
Nik
