Lol. My workshop manual says to take it to a mechanic. Not sure I cbf dealing with pressing it out anyway.
Needs a proper press to get them in and out afaik. Probably easier to find a hub with fresh/good bearings in it already and swap the lot over

Nice work on the front end Adam.
Why don't you just get the wrecker special and try to press out the bearings? If you fork it up, no matter.

I just pull the drivers side drive shaft out of the box and let it sit there to get to the rack lines....5 mins work for much less headache lol
I love the new whiteline gear and all its blackness....makes we want new stuff lol
Once the vearings in and sorted the car will geel tonnes better up front

Walking past it on the driveway with these new bits hanging out is so hard now haha

Pick up the hub with new bearings tomorrow

Old hub was ruined from the bearing spinning on the shaft!
New shopping list being written now to tackle the rear end and sloppy shifter

Also need to press in rear diff bushings. But I need to work out the best plan of attack for those.

Nice one Radam.
I did the shifter bushes on the RB's 6sp a while ago and looking back, there seems to be better products than OEM. Having said that, OEM are cheapish and readily available.
365000km hasnt been kind to bushes
Pfft, just run in.

What the two of you do in your own time is entirely up to you.
All I did with the RB was the small bushes in the control rod knuckle joint thingy. That's all that was worn.

I bet Wob gave you the big round one.... I hear that's how you like it.
When are you selling Adam?

I talk about selling alot. Especially when things go wrong. But I'm almost at a point where the car is good enough to keep me happy. I'd rather pour cash into doing up the ranger!
