OK Post up everything you know..

I want to be sure that one of those Carbon Fibre GC8 STI Front Strut Braces will fit the BD Chassis and have no problem with the Intercooler when im running the V4 top mount?

Yes?
Im pretty sure i have seen it mentioned/done but just wanted to be sure.

Forester strut braces fit Gen 3 Liberty with a GC8 STi motor, with a little bit of modification. Standard TMIC.

Cheers,
Shazza

Gen1/2/3 Liberty, sf5, sg9 forester and gc8 all are the same, width may vary between struts

GD and gen4 liberty are different again, with the gen4 liberty struts further apart than the gd, so they will only fit if they are adjustible.

+1

also remember that rear sedan braces swap to wagon but you may have trouble going the other way (wagon to sedan) as the body/housing around the strut tower is higher on the sedan which some braces won't clear

From experience, does anybody know if this brace will fit a Gen3 Liberty sedan? It doesn't appear so from the listing information.

No, it'll only fit a Gen I Liberty/Outback as listed in the details man.

GC8 braces do NOT fit gen 3, but gen 3 will fit GC8.

The gen 3 has a lot less empty space between the firewall & the strut tower,

the back of the mounting ring hits the firewall & will not let it bolt up, without serious modding.

gd wrx front fits SG forester front

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Just came across this when searching other stuff.

SF front strut braces do not fit SG, nore does a BE LIB unit fit a SG.

I recently tried both.

The bolt pattern on the strut tower is different
