hope the tyre fitters dont scratch your rims
I'll be masking the lips up like there's no tomorrow. My brother did this with his rpf01 before going to Tempe. I've already let most air out of the tyres so I can get to the whole lip

Why only mcgard? I use cheaper muteki nuts and theyve had no issues in 3 years? I just clean tbe threads with wd40 everytime i refit them or else the alloy tends to bind a bit (all alloy nuts will start to do this though)Will need to wait for the paint to harden properly, i mite even give them another coat or 2 of clear just for the hell of it...
I'll be lowering it back down before fitting them up, need black wheel nuts... So far only McGard nuts are the go for OEM wheels

My vote is to colour code the scoop...just looks a lot neater i reckonBlack on black ftw
I'm still contemplating on whether to keep my my scoop black to tie in with my grill and the rest of the black/charcoal bits

Black wheels look horn too BTW
I would have waited about at least a month after the paint has dried and cured before fitting the new tyres.
Did you get Tempe to fit them?
Herpaderps scratched my rims with their rattle gun. Had to touch up mine.

Just went over this thread.
Many mods, nice work.
A couple of questions:
If you were getting new tyres, why not strip the tyres and paint before the new ones went on? (Rims usually get scratched when tyres are removed)
Do you find the White Knight products are durable enough? I have had nothing but trouble with the product. (poor coverage and when coating bare steel, rust forms through the paint)

On bare metal usually you put down some etch primer first so this could be your problem with the rust.
