I am pulling the whole rear end out of my rs wagon in a couple of weeks - diff wont be up for grabs but the rest will be.

If you cant find a setup locally lemme know and we can work something out

I still reckon you should have went the gen2 rear end or Marv's, It'll work out the same price, and be less of a hassle. And you'll end up with the ability to upgrade easier.

But hope it works out for ya :)

That's how much my local wreckers charge for a gen2 crossmember. Be surprised if anywhere wanted any more for a gen2 one.

Anywho aslong as it's sorted soon.

The studs from the rear of the gen2 diff are longer then the gen1s as they mount slightly differently

I read somewhere that from oct 92 onwards the liberty had a new rear setup anyways?

Is it the same as what the gen 2 have now?

Yeah, there's a difference with the swaybar end-links and control arms. Earlier Libs had drop-links, later Libs/Imprezas had C-links.

All gen2's have the c-link set-up. All gen1's apart from the RS turbo's have the drop link.

So you got a c-link type rear end?

At a glance that looks the same as the gen2 setup to me.

I would have gone to the kitchen, collected a brown bag, dropped my dacks, pinched off a loaf in said bag, done up dacks, stickytaped bag, placed bag in envelope, and mailed it right to your face for being such a tool.

It's ok, sometimes when we herp, we also derp.
