Sure are pretty awesome upgrade. Useless compared to the b4 294mm brakes unless your tracking the car.

Looks good! nice clean start! you only a need a RS liberty front bar, as it's series 2 which i think you can still buy from subaru for around $330. the wagon rear bar/bar lips come up every now and then, same as the RS sideskirts, sideskirts are the same between wagon and sedan.

Nup, just take a tape measure/ruler and measure the size of the rotor.

Dunno, maybe Gen IV Liberty of some sort? They look pretty new/hardly used.
305mm doesn't sound right thou (I don't think...), should be either 315mm or 294mm.
Wonder what size the handbrake set-up is.

I have a complete set of B4 OEM brakes left over from my brembo conversion if you want. 100 bucks plus postage sound fair? Shouldn't be too much if you dont want the rotors (which will get you by, but are pretty much shagged). Just gathering dust in the shed. Was planning on putting them on my RX, but I'll be selling it now, so... Also have a set of the B4 BBS multispoke wheels if you need.

If you don't want them, I'll stick them up on the for sale forum. Damn I love threads like this that remind me I have stuff to sell!

Oh, and welcome!

Cheers,
Ben

MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. To be stripped and scrapped in time.

Just a thought - do the Gen 1's have floating discs, or is the disc integral to the hub?

Just a quick update for you guys im picking the liberty up this weekend, imnpretty exited but also afraid its not going to make it home to Coffs on the 7 hour drive :/
But if it does than ill be cheerin.
I also just got my oval varex muffler delivered yesterday so its ready to be put on when i get the cat back made up :)

Im thinking of giving the car a good service when it gets home including all fluids and filters.
Do you guys have recomended fluids and filters that are better quality??
Any input will be greatly appreciated.
