I would seriously snap that up if it was in Adelaide and replace the clutch myself.Grill looks tops man. You need to do the bottom with black mesh to match!
Also, if anyone wants a $400 gen 1 wagon that needs a new clutch.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.

I'm going to take it me thinks, as there is no way I'd get $8k for it another other time ever again.
Question remains, what do I replace this thing with? I've found a grandpa spec VL that's in mint condition for $4k which I'm really keen about, but I have just rediscovered my love for the Subaru SVX. I really want a manual car this time though.

If I could find one for $4k/5k I'd do a manual conversion and go for there?

Get teh SVX.
I would.
I love them! You know Mechanical Stig, right Alex? Any idea how much it would cost to put in a manual box and get everything going from there?

And there was something he had to do with the ECU. But not hard. Very doable.

Agree 100% AGREE..I agree with you, to a very limited degree. I agree that the laws do need reviewing.
I still believe juniorburgers shouldn't be driving turbocharged or NA performance cars.
They're too easy to tweak to make them faster.
I reckon it should drop to 100kw/t. Plenty of power.
although 100kw/T?..... that's probably more than the B4 has

No idea why, but something about that car (however quirky it is) really appeals to me!
Alex, good luck with the big purchase!

I just finished my 5 and a bit hours driving back to Sydney... "yay".............
Water was beautiful back up home today, few whales playing silly buggers a few hundred metres out was cool.
