I use heaps of throttle but keep max revs to about 3/4 of redline.
No low down pulling either.

My car is ex-copper so was thrashed from day one, and my mechanic tells me she burns a drop more than most OBK's.

But to be fair, she still get a bit of a wolloppin' once a week in the paddock.

I took mine to the upper end of the rev range a few times during run in, not a lot but a few times.. I think it is better to do that than to surprise it later down the track when it is all comfortable sitting back on a banana chair sipping cocktails and thinking it has the high life... oh no! make that shit work niggaz!

Just come back from a bit of a frash.

Was the funniest.

It was on an onramp onto a freeway, one of those loopy ones. Coming into a nice and tight left hander. 35kmh speed limited. I was coming in at 70.

I was coming in fairly warm. I wouldn't say hot, but I had the whole driveline loaded up, in second, and was about to hit 5k rpm. So I pussied out, and put it into third, but still gave it a hit.

And right beyond the loop?

Highway Patrol. Radaring the freeway, I presumed. Sailed past him, got onto the freeway, and hit 110. I've never shifted quicker into sixth ever!

He left me alone to deal with my brown pants.

Mazda's are girls cars mate, it's OK.

Also, for what most girls use a car for, Mazda's are better value for money.

Heavy Alexwski. Double Ds too, you woulda got bent over, and chainsawed, with no lube.

Also, Mazdas are good cars. My missus Mazda 3 just took us on a 4k round trip without a single issue.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts, right off.
