My 207 "supposedly" is limited at 8500rpm but the power falls away at about 7000rpm due to the turbo so i never get too much past that.....The bbk 20g should keep it all the way to redline :D but ill still keep a bit under 8000rpm

Well look who I just ran into (not literally). Wasn't able to say hi because I was in the line at the servo and had a car full of people and the car I was driving was the Mazda.

Im just confused as to why antilag is set at 10k if it only "blips" to those revs on downshifts? Seems completely pointless? Its used generally on rally cars as the restrictor creates massive lag on the turbo and antilag stops this keeping the turbo speed up between changes

It was a new track and not all the neighbours were on board yet with him having anti-lag pop and scare his horses in the paddock next door. They let him race the car, but minus pop'ige.

He reprogrammed the ecu to only turn anti-lag on at 10k to effectively "turn it off" without having to hack the ecu completely and disable it.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Now i understand ;)

Still 10k over rev on downshifts must be scary and not good for an engine, suppose if hes an arc "champion", they change shiteloads of parts after every race

Haha only just remembered you told me and scoured every car selling site I knew of :P

Only has 206k kms though... Notbad...

Wonder if the HG ever went?

Apart from the creaking in reverse and a weird gear change between 1st and 2nd, it was a fantastic car!

Must've liked it :P

The girl I sold it to kept the SC sticker but I reckon the dealer has taken it off so it doesn't scare people off
