Daily?
'99 Suzuki Baleno 1.6L 5 spd manual. 119,000kms and interior is like new. Picked it up for 1K minus the wheels.
Doing some tidy ups as usual, full service, timing belt, etc and maybe sell (although Id like to keep and keep the Outback - dont tell the wife)
'10 Suzuki Swift 15" alloys and tyres for under $300, thanks to Sam for helping me out with pick up and dropping at courier.

Yep, wheels with roadworthy tyres for $265 and $30 depot to depot.
2011 make tyres are much better than the hard '05 ones that were on there and dodgy in the wet.

I can imagine. So what are the plans for this new car now? New build topic I assume?

I hired one of those (sedan) in Tassie when they were new.
Pretty impressed with it actually.

Yes. The Gen2 2.5 has an exhaust system setup like a turbo model. Up pipe, down pipe, just no turbo. It uses the turbo crossmember also.
Really every gen 2 2.5 is like that?
Weird

Hey Mark,
The best option is to use the Suzuki as a daily,
Then keep the outback as a weekend / special use only, ie meets & cruises etc.
Your car is to clean to part out.
I'm with Jasehoon turbo swap would be sweet.

Yeah! He didn't mention that's what it was. I was so confused when I picked them up, haha!
I also wish they were Subaru wheels. They probably wouldn't have made it to the depot.. The white looks mint.
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Love this Gen2, easily one of the cleanest cars in Aus
Don't know how you could even contemplate selling this after all the work you have put in to it!
But then again there is probably nothing left to do to keep you interested haha
Out of pure curiousity, how much would you look at selling it for as it is?
Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.
