Will be a sad day for SC Mexico. Might be keen on some parts though. Probably the radiator shroud and maybe some interior bits

If this was another Gen IV, I'd fly down to Melbourne, buy it off ya and drive it back home.

For the right price Id do the turbo conversion myself for a buyer.  :D

Just idea's atm, but I did buy a car last weekend to either sell or keep as a cheap daily and the missus likes the idea of an R36 wagon which is achievable if I sell this and the Golf.

R36 wagons are the sex too! It'll be sad to see the Suby go though... :(

Depends on how much he wants for it. Might be a bit pricey to get it painted

Pffft, this thing turns waaaay more heads than a Gen4 and would be in better nick than 90% out there. :P

NO!

I love the Gen IV shape. My dream (and possibly my next car) is a 2009 Tuned by STi or 2009 3.0R SpecB. Wagon or sedan; doesn't phase me.

Bastard!

Having a sedan seriously wouldn't bother me to be honest. They'd both be fine, it's just a matter of what is available at the time of my search. I wish I had the money now as there are a few nice ones (wagons) on Car Sales.

Yes. The Gen2 2.5 has an exhaust system setup like a turbo model. Up pipe, down pipe, just no turbo. :P It uses the turbo crossmember also.
