I've done the vinyl wrap... Looks.. interesting. Looks mad in these pics, IMO. But once in the car the colour took on a different ..tinge, or something.

No pics of them installed yet, I'll take some tomorrow.

Took me about, maybe, 5 hours all up.. two sittings lol. Pretty happy with the quality, especially seeing as it was my first time doing vinyl. There are some dodgy areas, but not too baad! :)

You can see in the pic below that the vinyl is actually translucent. On it's white backing it looks quite red. When it has the darker brown backing of the dash plastic, it went a darker red/maroon.

...But, this isn't the other tinge that I talked of before. It looks kinda ................. pink when in the interior :(

Unsure If I'll take it all off yet, leave it as is, or spray black over it, hopefully achieving a normal black CF look. I'll get your input after i put up interior pics!

Neat job on the wrapping!

Well I liked the darker colour, I think a white undercoat would accentuate the pink tone while it's in the car.. Maybe?

Cheers Chris.
Lol, it wasn't for brakes, do you remember, it was the springs. haha. Is that sweet? Will we need to borrow spring compressors from somewhere or do you/your bro have some?
But yeah, 22nd, lunch time is great! Give me a time to be at yours and I'll be there. Send me a text of your address, I couldn't find it again.

Yeah, really bummed lol. Im sure it can be sprayed black though. Flexi prime and then paint. I was gonna do a test patch on some of the left over vinyl. Perhaps I still will!

Miles better than the fake wood burl, but as you mentioned it's translucent so maybe a lighter colour underneath would have worked out better.

I think, but I'm not sure, that a lighter colour underneath would have made it look more pink!
If the plastic was black, it would have darkened up the final appearance.

I just noticed your door cards are different from your seats.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Might do the same with the door cards. Can't find leather ones or the same cloth as current ones or any RSK ones..
