The good thing about Corollas are that they are excellent dailys, can cop a constant thrashing, and will never give up.

I'm pretty sure i've spun a big end in my current motor, but the thing keeps on going. Hahahaha. Drive it till it dies. And when it does, i'll chuck in a replacement motor for $100 to get me by until the 4AGE conversion is good to go.

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

I am surprised at the poke that the 4AGE has hey.. like it aint quick... but for what it is I think it is plenty quick enough, would roast an NA suby, and seems to have a fair bit more torque than I would have imagined....I was imagining an engine that had to be revved out to like 6K for any power to start coming on.... in gear sitting at like 2RPM it still pulls fine hey.

Want a daily rolla, or a charade actually. Always thought they looked cool. But can't justify the money at the moment. Would rather put it into the mini or moke. I I finished the moke I coul make some decent cash from it!

Josh, those things need to be driven to limiter, every gear.

You could literally sit there and bounce it off limiter, and it will love it. Dont be afraid son!

Also, been sussing out specs of the Formula Atlantic motors. Phwwooarr. 450hp N/A.

Its about a $8k in engine parts alone though. Rev to 15k. Idle at 4k. Peak power is between 9000rpm and 15000rpm.

Yeah man. 4AGEs love extractors and intake.

Best thing to do is find a TRD 4-2-1 replicas equal length spaghetti manifold, and then slap the 20V quads onto your 16V motor.

Straight up 150hp. For about $700 or so.

Once you've done that, slap a set of TRD valve springs in, Toda 297 cams and some adjustable gears, wire in a cheap ECU so you can control fuel/ignition, road tune it, and make over 200hp N/A.

eBay. Some of the rarer items (Like the extractors) will be hard to come across, and may cost a bit more.

Joshwa.

This is a series of Dyno runs detailing Cam Durations, Lift, gasket size, torque figures and compression ratios. Should give you an idea of what to expect.
