I just got back from 2 weeks in QLD last Friday to start work this week on Monday and find out its my RDO this Friday.

I'm in retail. I really need a change.. Wouldn't necessarily mind going into management, I do it now to an extent, just don't get paid for it. Hard to live on $250 a week! (before bills)

I know I won't be in retail my whole life. Hell, I just moved 2 hours so I could get out of it! I get jobs e-mailed to me daily from Seek + looking on other sources to try and find something I'd do well at. Being in the Hunter really helps compared to when I was in bumblefuck nowhere. Much like Ren.

Retail is definitely dead atm. The retail department at work (a computer store) is apparently making little to no money. My boss makes more money from repairs, support and my web department. But even websites have been quiet the last month, I have only been working 3 days a week. It is picking up now, and we usually get smashed on the turn of the financial year. I am quite happy atm, enough money to do what I want. Things will likely change when I move out.

Was nice of the government to bail out GMH. Hopefully one of these 2 medium size cars they have planned is a new Torana or something mid-sized and RWD.
