Yeah not sure if Ill go them again on the Foz, I didnt mind it but the misses absolutely shredded me over them haha. You get that when you set them stiff as though :D Im also planing on towing so Im thinking of running GD WRX struts and spring. Something that accomodates both sides.

But I have had my eye on some Kiddo's with rubber upper mounts ;)

Just a few photos of the car after I washed it the other day. All ready for its maiden voyage (first big road trip)

And then this is it all rigged up, halfway to Scott's head from Newcastle. Half the time it didn't even feel like I had a trailer on and I'd forget about it. Start boosting around some corners and then I'd remember.

And this where it will live for the next 2 weeks. Or until Matt come down and does the tune. Looking forward to that. That's about the only thing making me look forward to the drive home.
I've got the grimspeed 3 port BCS to go on but I'll put that on on the day of the tune. Doesn't have the right bracket so I'll have to rig something up when I get home.

And here is what I'll be doing for the next 2 weeks. That and surfi and watching cricket.

Just had my tune done by Matt (throttlehappy) and its safe to say I'm stoked. 162 Killer wasps ATW. In the early stages of the tune we where hitting 18.5 psi at 1800 rpm but we pulled it back and smoothed it out. We had the clutch slipping and it's a heavy duty organic clutch. Peaks at 17 psi now then drops back to 15psi and holds it right through.

Looking forward to the drive home now. Will be interesting to see how it goes on the way home. Matt said everything in the car seemed to be top notch which left me even happier.

Also installed the grimspeed boost solenoid just before hand.

A big thanks to Matt for driving down to Scott's head and doing the tune. Heloed me out massively. And I do have to apologise for the irate misses. Hasn't received enough loving haha

Yeah stock td04. Pretty close to its limit I think but Matt said the motor and turbo both seemed to perform really well so I'm raped

Really contemplating a vf34 next year but I'll enjoy this for now.

We need a primary school teacher to clarify I think

Make sure Matt puts the vacuum lines on correctly :P

Only thing he touched was the ecu. Everything else is on me. And he said everything seemed to be top notch. So I'm wrapt, wrapped raped....

So I finally got around to installing my rear brake upgrade today. I've had them sitting there sicne before Christmas but just didn't have time to do it. They are 290x18mm vented and slotted rear liberty GT brakes with single pot calipers. Referbed by cruisin.

Will be interesting to see how they level the braking out. The first bedding in session felt good. Will report how they feel in the next few weeks.

So put some header wrap and on today, took the oxygen sensor out and it was really hard to get get out. Once I got it out the thread was fudged. Not happy. So I'm frantically trying to sort something out. But because its an uncommon thread and pitch its making things difficult. Here's the photos from today so far

Hopefully I get it sorted today, might have better luck tomorrow though with everyone being open

The two cut outs on both driver and passenger side (underneath the seats)
Do you know if this is meant for amp wiring?
