how easy was it to put that "EzLip" one?

ive been debating on weather or not to get one since i lowered my OBK

im also jealous of your spoiler! i've been thinkin of gettin one

It was pretty easy to fit. It has this double sided tape that you just stick to the car. Ive put some small screws in just to help prevent it from falling off.

Definately get a spoiler. I managed to get the one thats on the car for $30aus plus more with all the other charges that are stacked from IM.

lip and wing look good mate! so many outbacks haha

Cheers buddy. There are a few Outbacks on here. Great car but slow!

Update: Had the diff back muffler and tip but on. Its a straight through Magnaflow muffler with a 3.5 inch tip and same size pipe from the diff back as stock. Actually sounds really good.

Update.

Done a head gasket:( There is coolant leaking out of the rear of the right head and I'll be getting it fixed next week. Ive been told to expect to pay $2500-$3000.

Is that about right for price. Cant believe its happened now. Cars only done 154,000 but all well. Ive got money saved up so ill be able to get it fixed. Shame it didnt happen 6-12 months down the track when id be on my full license and id do a turbo conversion.

I feel your pain mate, I had to replace mine about a month ago at only 104,000km's.
That is pretty much the average price to get it fixed with a full 100k service included.
If you have the tools and knowledge I would seriously suggest doing it yourself as you don't have to remove the engine to do it.
It cost me just over $500 to do it myself. $160 for a full gasket kit, $80 for a water pump, $300 for machining the heads and doing some valve work.

Just saw this now, Very nice looking car.

Mine is leaking coolant now, But I have not bothered to fix it as I will be doing a converstion soon. Don't wanna waste any money on a motor that won't be in it for very long....

Cheers everyone for your thoughts and compliments.

The end result was the head gasket was weeping so therefore needed to be replaced and in the process had replacment heads put on. End cost was $2700.

Though what came next I wasnt expecting. When my mechanic put the motor back in and re attached it back the transmission he hadn't do something quit right and the next day from picking it up when i was driving it the transmission was playing up and wouldn't engage the gears. Auto trans by the way.

So I took it back to him on the saturday and on the monday he informed me that from his wrong doing the transmission was now f**ked and I was getting a BRAND new transmission for nothing $3500 worth.

Something to do with the pump not working therefore not pumping fluid around the transmission.

So all in all the car runs fantastic now. Feels like what the car would have felt like when it was new.

Decided it was time to de-badge the car. TOO many badges on these Outback's. All has gone well apart from the Outback badge on the back leaving this behind for me to figure out what to do with it.

Posted Image

Any thoughts anyone?? I have bought a Lancaster Badge to go back over it but it doesnt cover it completely.

Came across this in my trade school car park last week. Had a good laugh with my mates. Though the sticker bombing was done fairly well.

Good to hear your Outback is all fixed and working well :)

You're right, there are too many Outback badges. Mine has the word Outback written 10-times in total in and out of the car. Includes floor mats, seats, exterior, nudge bar etc.
